Jay-Z and Pharrell have collaborated musically ('Excuse Me Miss,' 'I Just Wanna Love U') in the past, but now the hip-hop duo will be teaming up for ventures in the fashion industry. Jay's fashion label Rocawear recently joined forces with one of Pharrell's clothing lines, Billionaire Boys Club.

GQ originally broke the story, saying the Jay-Z bought out Pharrell's line. They wrote, "Jay-Z's fashion house, Rocawear, owns the licensing to manufacture and distribute Billionaire Boys Club. Sources say that Jay-Z and Pharrell, the current face and force behind BBC, will work as a tandem— utilizing Jay-Z's business prowess and Pharrell's creativity."

However, a few hours after GQ posted the article, Jigga took to Twitter to contest the report, writing, "Partnering with @4real4rell on BBC" follow him.. (Not "buying" as GQ erroneously reported.)." Either way, we're excited to see what the two musicians will churn out.

Billonaire Boys Club is known for for having a skater boy meets hip-hop look, a la founder Pharrell's own personal style. Rocawear has a more rough-around-the-edges rap flair, so it will be interesting to see where these two styles will intersect.
