We already knew that Season 4 of 'Glee' would offer plenty of changes, with much of the cast graduating and moving on to college. Now comes word from TV Line that 'American Idol' runner-up Jessica Sanchez could join the show for multiple episodes.

The 16-year-old Sanchez is reportedly close to a formal agreement to join the cast at some point during the first half of Season 4, once she has completed her responsibilities with the Idols Live tour. That trek, featuring the Top 10 finishers from last season, runs from early July through mid-September.

No details have been announced regarding Sanchez's potential character, but the show will certainly want to take advantage of her vocal skills. Sanchez blew away fans with her 'Idol' performances of songs like Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You' and Alicia Keys' 'Fallin.''

It's not clear what this news will mean for Sanchez's debut album. She may end up having to put the record on hold while she focuses on the show, but we're pretty sure a voice like hers will end up on an album before too long.

Sanchez was voted off 'Idol' during the Top 7 round, but the judges used their save to keep her around, allowing her to move on and advance to the finals, where she finished as runner-up to Phillip Phillips.
