Jessie J used 2011's "Who You Are" as a means to stump for self-acceptance, but, four years later, she's desperate to shed her stripes and become someone new, instead.

The "Flashlight" singer, who will appear in FOX's upcoming Grease Livehas taken on The Little Mermaid's "Part of Your World" in a remake that made its way around the web today (October 20). And where the original version's soft, restrained and a little melancholy, Jessie J kicks things up a notch, belting through the song's second half like a tsunami that's ready to rip up a series of island chains.

The adaptation comes straight from the forthcoming We Love Disney album, which will feature remakes of classic Disney tunes performed by some of 2015's biggest stars. Released later this month, it'll find Ariana Grande performing Hercules' "Zero to Hero," Tori Kelly tackling Pocahontas' "Colors of the Wind" and Gwen Stefani taking on The Muppets' "Rainbow Connection."

"Part of Your World," which was originally performed by Jodi Benson in the 1989 film, chronicles the longing of the cartoon's protagonist, Ariel, to ditch her mermaid tail and become a walking, talking member of dry land's society. Darren Criss and Carly Rae Jepsen have previously covered it.

Take a listen to Jessie J's "Part of Your World" above, and grab a copy of We Love Disney on iTunes starting October 30!
