British singer Jessie J just dropped her debut album, 'Who You Are,' on Tuesday in the US, and she's not only introducing herself to America with her music: The 23-year-old is dishing on her past, present and future in a new video interview.

Jessie, whose single 'Price Tag' (featuring B.o.B), is climbing up the Billboard Hot 100 chart after hitting No. 1 in the UK, admits she wasn't the best student at school. "I was so bad at history, math, science, geography ... Anything academic," she tells MTV News. "I really tried; it just never clicked with me. Every single report was, 'Jessica could do with not distracting people with her voice.' "

The pop singer, who enjoys painting and drawing in her spare time, says that she hopes to give back to her community, particularly UK youth clubs. "I think one of my ultimate dreams is to be able to make enough money to give money away and still be comfortable."
