Justin Bieber causes mass hysteria wherever he goes, and has since his success sky-rocketed in 2009. But things have been a bit closer to Biebs' heart during a recent tour stint in Israel. The 'Baby' singer's plans to get in touch with his faith and meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have been called off thanks to paparazzi, politics, and general pandemonium.

The 17-year-old worldwide star tore into paparazzi via Twitter yesterday, after he realized that he couldn't even leave his hotel without being bombarded. “You would think paparazzi would have some respect in holy places. All I wanted was the chance to walk where jesus did here in isreal,” Bieber tweeted.

Now, Bieber's pre-planned meet-up with Prime Minister Netanyahu has been stopped too, per the advice of officials, because of Mideast politics. "Unfortunately it has not proved feasible," an official, who chose to remain anonymous, reports. The Prime Minister was hoping to bring kids from south Israel to meet the singer and give them a "happy experience," in light of the many recent rocket attacks in their area.

Allegedly, Bieber told Netanyahu's office he did not want to make his visit political in any way, though an Israeli spokeswoman for the teen denied that he ever had plans to meet with Netanyahu in the first place. "i want to see this country and all the places ive dreamed of and whether its the paps or being pulled into politics its been frustrating," Bieber tweeted.

Despite the rep's denial, meeting with the Prime Minister wouldn't be far fetched event for the Biebs. In the past, Netanyahu has played host to larger-than-life stars like Elton John, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Madonna during their visits to the Holy Land.
