Justin Timberlake's new movie, 'In Time,' was just released on Friday, but the pop star already has several new projects on the horizon, including a role in the Coen Brothers new film.

According to Collider, the 'SexyBack' singer is in talks to star in Joel and Ethan Coen's upcoming movie, 'Inside Llewyn Davis,' which uses the '60s folk music scene of New York as its backdrop. With Timberlake's musical background it seems like a perfect fit.

The singer would play a musician who is married to a character played by 'Drive' star Carey Mulligan. Oscar Isaac, who also starred in the Nicolas Winding Refn film, will star as the title role.

Timberlake has been acting since he was a child, but the star drew the most attention from his role as Napster founder Sean Parker in 'The Social Network.' In 2011, he released three movies, including 'Bad Teacher,' 'Friends With Benefits' and his recent sci-fi thriller 'In Time.'

The Hollywood Reporter says that Timberlake hasn't officially signed on to star in any movies in the immediate future, but is acting as the music supervisor for Jessica Biel's forthcoming film 'The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea.' JT will also star in and co-produce the biopic 'Spinning Gold,' which focuses on Casablanca Records' co-founder Neil Bogart, and try his hand at becoming an action star for Joel Silver's cop film 'Fully Automatic.'

In the meantime, fans can see Timberlake acting in 'In Time' and rapping in Freesol's new video, 'Role Model,' which was released in mid-October.
