Kanye West to Headline Big Chill 2011 Festival

Fresh off a triumphant performance at Coachella, Kanye West has been announced as a headliner for the Big Chill Festival.

West's date at the fest will be his only UK festival appearance of the year. Since his infamous debacle at Bonnaroo in 2008, the rapper has redeemed himself with well-received sets at several festivals, including a hometown set in Chicago at Lollapalooza in 2008.

Kanye will headline alongside electronic duo the Chemical Brothers and stunning Mexican instrumental guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela.

Other big names appearing at Big Chill include 'Price Tag' singer Jessie J, funk-pop performer Janelle Monae, Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant with the Band of Joy, and soul revivalists Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings.

The Big Chill Festival takes place in Eastnor Castle Deer Park from August 4-7.
