Original 'American Idol' Kelly Clarkson revealed on her Facebook page earlier this week that is she is just one song shy of finishing her fifth studio album.

Clarkson posted: "I record my last song on the 25th of this month and then we will be releasing the album." She provided a little more detail about the sonics of the album and what inspired it, writing, "This album was influenced by Prince, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow, Radiohead and there's a little bit of a country vibe/influence on a couple of songs."

That's an eclectic mix of influences and Clarkson did not stop there. She gave a little bit of teaser info about one of the more soulful tunes: "One of my favorites on the new album is highly influenced by Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder. Eric Hutchinson wrote it ... The album is gonna be a great pop record! I can't wait for y'all to hear it!"

Bring it on, Kelly.
