Kelly Clarkson used her Facebook page to address those irritating, pesky and misleading demo leaks and to let her fans know that a brand new single, from her album reportedly due in September, will be released in July.

Clarkson, who performed at the site that launched her into pop superstardom on 'American Idol' earlier this season, took a moment out of her busy day to explain and clarify the process when it comes to demos and leaked songs and posted the following message on her Facebook page on May 14: "I just heard another demo of mine leaked. I don't know how or who is doing it but they're demos and not the real deal. I record a ton of songs I write and songs that other people write when I'm making an album. Sorry for the confusion. I promise y'all I'm just as anxious to get my cd out! The recording is all done and now we're finishing up with mixing the record and getting ready to release the single in July."

So if you happened to hear one of the Kelly Clarkson demos, don't assume that it's indicative of what's on her upcoming album or what it will sound like. In the meantime, we'll look forward to July and hearing what direction she went in for this new single. Bring it, Kel.
