Kesha has been performing all over the world the past couple of months, bringing her her outrageous stage antics like drinking blood and catapulting condoms to audience members in Australia and the US. However, following the horrific natural disasters, the 'Blow' singer released a statement saying that she would be postponing her upcoming dates in Japan.

"My heart is with Japan right now through this disaster and these hardships," Kesha wrote on her official website. "I genuinely don't think right now would be appropriate timing for me to perform in Japan given the content and the spirit of my show, which is all about feeling exuberant, rowdy, and wild ... I plan to bring my party there and to that part of the world when we are all ready to dance and Get $leazy together again. In the meantime I am going to do everything I can to help relief efforts and I encourage everyone in the world to do the same."

Who knew that the 'Cannibal' queen could make such level-headed assessments? According to Billboard, The company in charge of Kesha's Japanese tour promotion, Creativeman Productions, has also canceled two festivals that were supposed to occur this spring, one of which would've featured rappers Flo Rida and Nelly, and the other one featuring pop punkers Good Charlotte.

Although Kesha is holding off on performing in Japan and nearby Korea, some singers are still taking the stage. Over the weekend, R&B singer Ne-Yo performed in Osaka, Japan. He also announced that he is setting up a charity called 'Spread Love Through Music' to help with relief efforts in the country. In a video message on his website, Ne-Yo stated, "You can absolutely spread love through music, and I think that's what's absolutely called for in this time of crisis." He will also be performing today in Yokohama and Thursday in Tokyo.
