Former L.A. Lakers player Lamar Odom remains unconscious at a Las Vegas hospital, after he was found unresponsive in a VIP suite at Nevada brothel the Love Ranch yesterday (October 13). As unconfirmed reports say the athlete is in a coma or even brain dead, his rep tells US magazine, "Please don't listen to the false information being circulated unofficially" and Odom's father Joe told them his son was doing, quote, "okay." Meanwhile, Odom's ex-wife Khloe Kardashian rushed to be by his side upon hearing the news, CNN reports.

Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner accompanied her daughter, says TMZ, offering a photo of Kris allegedly outside the hospital. According to L.A. Daily News journalist Mark Medina, Lakers player Kobe Bryant left in the middle of a pre-season game to visit his former teammate, accompanied by Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak.

While Odom won NBA championship with the Lakers in 2009 and 2010 and took honors as the NBA Sixth Man of the Year back 2011, he is currently a free agent. The player and former co-star of E!'s Khloe and Lamar is evidently well-liked among his NBA colleagues, as many are voicing their prayers and support online. Dwyane Wade tweeted this morning, "I pray this morning for my brother. Dear God he's one of the good ones. PLEASE watch over him and listen to his heart speak #PrayersForLamar."

Kendall Jenner also tweeted a statement likely pertaining to Odom's condition: "Please don't go."
