Krewella – Recording Artists From Chicago

Chicago natives Krewella are taking the EDM scene by storm. The trio, comprised of songwriters and vocalist sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf, as well as producer Kris "Rain Man" Trindl, formed in 2007. In 2012, the group self-released their EP 'Play Hard,' generating enough buzz to make their latest single, 'Alive,' absolutely explode.

'Alive' perched comfortably atop the Billboard Dance Radio Airplay chart and is now enjoying a rapid rise up the Pop Radio Airplay chart, as well.

While they love their hometown, Krewella aren't keen on staying in Chi-town for long -- they've traveled and performed at some of the hugest EDM festivals all over the world, including the electro meccas Stereosonic, Electric Daisy Carnival and Ultra Music Festival.

Stayed tuned for more on this up-and-coming trio, as Krewella are hard at work recording their first full-length album, due out sometime in 2013 through Columbia Records.
