Pop icon Kylie Minogue and No Tomorrow actor Joshua Sasse are officially calling off their engagement.

Today (Feb. 3), the Light Years legend confirmed the bittersweet goodbye in an Instagram update, posting a photo of a sunrise.

"#lovers ... Thank you for all your love and support throughout this recent chapter of my life. Thank you now for your love and understanding with the news that Josh and I have decided to go our separate ways. We wish only the best for each other as we venture towards new horizons. #thesunalwaysrises," she wrote.

The couple recently campaigned for marriage equality together in Australia with Sasse's #SayIDoDownUnder campaign, during which the two pledged not to wed until the LGBTQ community could do the same.

"We are not comfortable getting married until this law is passed. Why should we get married? We will not get married until this law has passed in Australia," Sasse explained in an interview at the time.

The two started dating back in September of 2015 after Kylie made a guest appearance on Sasse's show Galavant, and made the engagement news public in February of 2016. Despite tabloid speculation, the couple have not made public a reason for the split.

In happier news, Kylie also announced that she officially inked a new record label deal with BMG the day prior, with an album still to come in 2017.

"#lovers ... So happy to announce my new record label is BMG. I promise you will have my heart and soul in this next record. 🎤," she declared.

Here's to new beginnings, Miss Minogue.
