Even when you're the biggest, hottest pop star on the planet, you still have to answer to mom! Lady Gaga's mother, Cynthia Germanotta, has reportedly crashed her daughter's current world tour in order to keep an eye on the superstar, who readily admitted to enjoying a liquid diet and consuming whiskey to get creative and write songs.

UK tabloid The Sun reports that Mama Germanotta has stepped in and is staying with her famous child in between live shows to make sure she is on her best behavior and not wearing herself out with lack of sleep, too much alcohol and a poor diet. Gaga, who recently claimed her mother was one of her beauty influences, has been boozing it up and partying hard while on tour, the details of which were revealed in her recent 'Vogue' cover story.

A source for The Sun said, "She may be one of the biggest and strangest pop stars in the world but her relationship with her parents is very traditional." Even in Gaga's Google interview, she admitted to only tattooing the left side of her body per her father's request; So it's clear she definitely has a close, old-fashioned relationship with her parental units. The Sun source further added: "Her mum thinks she drinks too much and doesn't eat enough. She has gone along to keep an eye on her boozing and feed her up."
