On June 25, Lady Gaga performed at the the MTV Video Music Aid Japan benefit concert at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The event was set up in order to help the victims of the earthquakes and tsunamis that struck the country earlier this year.

As always, Lady Gaga went all-out on the red carpet before the show. In these pictures, she is wearing a black leather vest with silver and gold studs, a black satin beret, and shoes that once again left us asking the question, "How the heck does she walk in those?!" Her eye makeup was especially theatrical, with her lids done up in a way to make it appear as if she was still looking at you when her eyes were shut.

During the show, the pop diva busted out some of her latest hits, performing 'The Edge of Glory' and 'Born This Way' in glittery black lingerie and combat boots. Gaga also ditched her web of aquamarine hair to reveal blond locks styled with blunt bangs and mini Princess Leia-esque buns.
