No. 1: ‘Bad Romance’

Coming in at No. 1 on our Top 10 Lady Gaga Songs list is the industrial-inspired, electro-pop gem 'Bad Romance.' This song off of 'The Fame Monster' is a hit from start to finish and has widely been praised as one of Gaga's most accomplished masterpieces.

From the forceful tone of Gaga's vocals (especially on the "Rah-rah-ah-ah-ah / Roma-Roma-ma-ma
Ga-ga-ooh-la-la / Want your bad romance" refrain) to the whirring, urgent synthesizers (they sometimes remind us of the soundtrack to the shower slaying scene in 'Psycho') and reverberating bass, every element in this complex composition comes together to form one of the most awesomely in-your-face pop songs of all-time.

On top of the sonics, Gaga's lyricism on this track takes us on a roller coaster ride of emotion. At times, it seems as if she's singing about unrequited love ("I don't wanna be friends"). At others, it sounds as if Gaga's fallen so madly in love with someone that she is willing to put up with all of their evil qualities. No matter what emotion she's experiencing though, one thing is for sure: this is the best Lady Gaga song to date.
