Sad girls club leader Lana Del Rey was on hand at the Billboard Women in Music Awards, which aired Friday night on Lifetime, in order to receive her 2015 Trailblazer Award.

After being introduced to the stage by Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, the "High By The Beach" chanteuse took to the stage in a sleek black suit, where she gave a succinct but poignant thank you speech that both called out the hardworking women on her team as well as her own introspective "journey" as an emerging artist over the past few years.

"Thank you Billboard," Lana, whose most recent album Honeymoon was released in September, began her speech, adding, "It's amazing to be in a room full of so many wonderful women. Even my agent Carol Kinzel and my publicist Marilyn Laverty have been honored by Billboard, which is fun that they're in the room with me. Its been an interesting journey. I feel like this year I'm only just starting to figure out the perspective that I have written the last four records from. And I just want to say thank you to Billboard for supporting me while I continue to do that. Thank you."

In addition to Lana, other Billboard Women in Music recipients this year included Selena Gomez (Chart-Topper Award), Demi Lovato (Rulebreaker Award), Missy Elliott (Innovator Award), Fifth Harmony (Group of the Year Award), and Mother Monster herself, Lady Gaga, who was awarded the Woman of the Year Award. Lana succeeds last year's Trailblazer honoree Hayley Williams of Paramore.
