Pack your bags, girls — Lea Michele and Kate Upton have signed on to star together in a sexy road trip comedy called The Layover.

According to E! Newsthey're set to play lifelong friends who go on vacation together, only to have a hurricane hit while they're both crushing on the same guy. Talk about disaster. William H. Macy is set to direct.

Lea confirmed the news on Twitter. "I have some very exciting news to share," she wrote. "So excited to be working with the amazing @WilliamHMacyand the gorgeous @KateUpton on our new film #TheLayover this spring!!!"

Kate tweeted, "Never thought I'd be looking forward to a layover! I can't wait!!"

At first glance, it seems like Lea and Kate might not have much in common — one is a curvy blonde Sports Illustrated bombshell; the other a petite brunette who made a name for herself as a child star on Broadway — but Macy summarized their similarities in a release. "They are singular, ambitious funny women in full. This is going to be fun," he wrote, according to E! News.

Lea, who just ended her six-season run on Glee, has already signed on to appear in Ryan Murphy's next project, a triller series called Scream Queens. You might remember Kate from her role as one-third of a revenge-seeking trio in The Other Woman.

We think this movie sounds like a great time and we think the chemistry between these two ladies will be really interesting to watch. There's no word on when it will be released yet, but rehearsals have started, according to a tweet from Lea.
