Lee DeWyze Announces 2011 Tour Dates

Lee DeWyze unveiled his major-label debut, 'Live It Up,' in November, and now the 'American Idol' winner is ready to hit the road in support of the release. After a short run in Asia, the Season 9 champion will return to the States for his just-announced US tour dates.

After an appearance at the Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival, DeWyze will kick off his first headlining tour in Columbus, Ohio on June 19. He'll perform songs from his latest album, including his second single, 'Beautiful Like You,' which he premiered on 'Idol' on March 17.

"I'm excited to be on the Idol stage again," he said before his TV appearance. "Debuting my own single 'Beautiful Like You' in front of all my fans is a dream come true."

The 25-year-old co-wrote all but one song on 'Live It Up,' and became the first 'American Idol' winner to pen his first post-show single, 'Sweet Serendipity.'

On April 27, an exclusive pre-sale became available to fans with registered accounts on DeWyze's website. Tickets are currently on sale to the general public.
