Lindsay Lohan Reportedly Hospitalized for Rare Virus

Scary news: Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been hospitalized after contracting a rare virus in Bora Bora.

TMZ reports that the actress has been admitted to King Edward VII hospital in London after experiencing a high fever and "unbearable" joint pain, two symptoms of the virus. The site also claims that Lohan became so sick that she "could barely walk."

Just before New Year's, Lohan herself revealed that she had contracted the Chikungunya virus while on vacation. Though the disease -- which is commonly caused from a mosquito bite -- is rare and untreatable, it is also rarely fatal, according to the CDC. The joint pain can last any where from a few months to a few years.
