Lock of Justin Bieber’s Hair Up to $7000 on eBay

Besides looking good, Justin Bieber's signature hairdo does serve a purpose!  The Bieb gave a single lock of hair to Ellen DeGeneres on her TV show earlier this week, and told her to auction it off to the charity of her choice.

The bidding, which ends on Mar. 2, is already up to $7000! The initial bid was set at $10 and quickly escalated to nearly seven grand, with more than 60 bids being entered.

"I'm giving pieces of it to different people," Bieber said on the talk show. "We're doing something special. We want you to donate it to whatever charity you want." She put the hair in a plexiglass box, which Bieber signed.

Animal-lover DeGeneres chose The Gentle Barn, a California-based animal rescue organization, as the recipient of the auction proceeds.
