It seems like Madonna has feuded with almost anyone who is someone in the entertainment industry (or not necessarily) -- Elton John, Prince, Piers Morgan, Deadmau5, Mariah Carey, Pope John Paul II. So was it that surprising when Madge started ripping on Lady Gaga for, what she claims, to be copying her originality? No. Absolutely not. The woman would start a fullout war with hydrangeas if given the chance -- homegirl does not have the reputation of being the most level-headed. Or rather, she's not one to avoid controversy, which has perhaps contributed to the lengthiness of her career to this point.

The fight has been pretty one-sided, with Madge throwing all the punches. Her thoughts on Gaga's track 'Born This Way?' "I thought, this is a wonderful way to redo my song." Mother Monster has mainly been a good sport about the feud saying, "I know she hates me but I don’t give a f---!" Gaga also gave fans a sort of "read between the lines" speech about people always wanting to take them down, adding, "You can never invalidate the power of 'Born This Way.'"
