Mark Ronson revealed that he identifies as sapiosexual.

The award-winning singer/songwriter/producer came out during an appearance on Good Morning Britain Thursday (September 19) following a debate with few of the show's producers backstage. During his interview, he eventually came to the conclusion that he's more attracted to intelligence than gender.

“The definition means intelligence first then attraction. I date men and women and identify as bisexual, and the thing that linked all people that I have dated has been their brains,” journalist Nichi Hodgson said during the segment. “We know a certain percentage of the population is sapiosexual. It’s always existed, we just didn’t have a word for it.”

This led the hosts to ask Ronson if the term sapiosexual resonates with him. “Now we know you are single, and Mark has got very involved in our debate backstage,” they said. “You are identifying as a man who likes intellect?”

Ronson responded, “Yeah, I didn’t know that there was a word for it. We were all arguing backstage in the dressing room. With a couple of your producers. And yes I feel like I am identifying as sapiosexual.”

“So you are coming out as sapiosexual," one host asked.

"Out and proud on Good Morning Britain," the 44-year-old replied.

Ronson recently split from French actress Joséphine de La Baume and was previously engaged to Parks and Recreation star Rashida Jones.
