Michael Buble Says He’s Ready for Kids When His Wife Is Ready

Michael Buble is ready to expand his family, but not until his wife is, he says. The pop crooner married his love, actress Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre, in March, and is all for having a baby when the time is right.

"I've said to [Luisana] a million times I'd love to have kids," Buble told ET Canada, according to People. "But I always say to her when you're ready – when you feel like you've lived and you've partied and done all the things you want to do. When you've worked your butt off, then tell me."

The 36-year-old singer is 12 years older than his 24-year-old bride, but age is just a number -- the two are very much in love. In fact, the couple wed not once, but twice. The first ceremony was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, his wife's home country, and the second wedding took place two months later in Canada. The singer reportedly threw a "lavish” wedding for 500 friends and relatives in Vancouver.

While Buble is waiting to add to his brood, he'll be keeping himself quite busy. The star is set to release a new Christmas album soon, and will appear on a holiday variety special on NBC this December.
