Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry + One Direction Listed in Guinness Book of World Records 2015

Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, One Direction and other top music stars are being recognized for various achievements and milestones in the 2015 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records. The annual list of record holders will be hitting bookshelves on Sept. 10.

Among the many celebrities featured in the book include Miley Cyrus as the "Most Searched For Female," Katy Perry as the "Musician With Most Twitter Followers," One Direction as "First Act to Debut as No. 1 With First Three Albums," Shakira as "First Person to Receive 100 Million Likes on Facebook" and Eminem with "Most Words in a Hit Single."

One Direction member Niall Horan said in a statement, “This really is one of our proudest moments, both for us and our incredible fans. Whenever we talk about it we always say how cool it is that we did it first, how sick is that?!”

The Guinness Book of World Records 2015 will be the 60th edition since its first publication in 1955.
