Naya Rivera recently signed with Columbia records to release her debut solo album, and now the 'Glee' star is opening up about her debut full-length, saying that she has a slew of songs to tap into.

“I know what I sound good on, and I know what I like to write,” she tells Entertainment Weekly. “I’ve been writing for years, so I have a catalog of songs that I’ve written over the years, and it’s just a matter of getting with the right producers and other writers to develop the sound that is me.”

The 24-year-old will begin recording her first effort after the ‘Glee Live! In Concert!’ tour wraps this month, at which point, Rivera says, her sole focus will be on her album.

“I won’t have anything I’m working on until after the tour is over,” she added. “So July 4th, when I get back home in L.A., is when I’ll hunker down and spend that whole month hammering out the details and the creative process of that. I’m really excited about that.”

Rivera will be the third actor from 'Glee' to release a solo record, following co-stars Mark Salling and Matthew Morrison. A release date has not yet been set.
