The second month of the year is typically pretty dull, except this year. The new music releases in February 2012 will bring a few special albums that will have you crushin' harder than you ever could on your Valentine's Day date.

February is loaded with killer music, though the hands-down highlight of the month was Nicki Minaj's 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' unveiling. Unfortunately, that has since been rescheduled for an April release. She promises it'll be worth the wait, however. The bodacious wig-bearer takes on the persona of her alter-ego Roman Zolanski in her forthcoming release, an album she says was way more fun to record than its predecessor, 'Pink Friday.' "Now, the Barbz and I, we’ve proven ourselves and so now I’m just like having fun," she noted.

On Feb. 7, both the All-American Rejects and the Fray will dish us a piping hot plate of new music. The Rejects' 'Kids in the Street' record is expected to be a fun one, based on their past success, the title of the Fray's 'Scars & Stories' lends us to believe they are promising a package sealed with some heavy material.

On Feb. 21, fun. will drop 'Some Nights.' That's all for now, but stay tuned to PopCrush 'cause more new music releases for February could be coming our way soon! Perhaps the artists are still hibernatin'?
