There's nothing quite like the fresh start that a new year brings, and in this case, we mean the new music releases in January 2012!

So far, it seems like music's hottest artists are planning to drop albums at a snail's pace in the new year, but we're sure everyone is just preoccupied with the holidays... Or out sledding, or something.

In any case, January will bring a (small) handful of new releases. T.I. will kick off the year right with a brand-spanking-new mixtape called 'F—dacityup' on Jan. 1, because he says he wants his voice to be the first thing we hear after the ball drops. Ja Rule is expected to finally debut his latest work in the form of 'Pain Is Love 2' on Jan. 17, the same day that Juvenile will finally drop 'Rejuvenation.'

At the end of the month, we'll get our hands on Kid Cudi's group album, 'WZRD.' The album features the new single 'Brake,' which was co-produced with help from Dot da Genius. Also on Jan. 30, softer singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson will unveil that she is 'Human Again.'

We have no doubt that there will be more new music releases coming in January 2012, so stay tuned to PopCrush while all of your favorites finish their hot cocoa -- we'll bring you those release dates as soon as they hit the web!
