Nicki Minaj Performs at the 2011 Green Auction

On Tuesday, March 29, Nicki Minaj attended and performed at the 2011 Green Auction: A Bid to Save the Earth in New York City at Christie's. A charity auction and runway show with sustainable pieces were held in order to raise awareness and funding for a more eco-friendly environment.

Ms. Minaj was invited to attend the event by the editor-in-chief of American Vogue, Anna Wintour, who Minaj gives a shout out to on her 'Pink Friday' track 'Muny' ("Hey, yo, Anna, hey yo Anna Wintour, I'ma need that cover baby girl, it's Pink Friday, ya dig"). Could this be a sign of an upcoming Harajuku Barbie issue of Vogue?

Before the show, Minaj tweeted, "Dear Barbz, who knew wen I gave anna wintour a s/o in "muny" she'd b calling me 2 perform @ a vogue charity event. Lmao. Headed there now : )." Minaj wore all black and a tall blond and green wig, similar to the one she rocked at the 2011 Grammy's.
