Nicki Minaj Gets Robotic with David Guetta at American Music Awards

This year's American Music Awards kicked off Sunday night with a futuristic bang as Nicki Minaj and David Guetta perform the club banger 'Turn Me On.' The pink-haired rap queen was wearing a silver get-up with spared parts and glittering sneakers. A far cry from her usual Harajuku outfits, Minaj looked like a tin robot from hip-hop's future.

After she performed 'Turn Me On,' Minaj segued into her other chart-topping anthem 'Super Bass.' The rap queen was grinding and twisting her waist to the boom-bastic song as pop starlets Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez were lip-syncing the infectious song together. A great television moment, to say the least.

No doubt, Nicki Minaj was the perfect choice to kick off the AMAs. The Young Money rapstress is up for two awards including Favorite Album for her multi-platinum album 'Pink Friday.'
