Nicki Minaj Addresses ‘X Factor’ Rumors, Love for Simon Cowell

Nicki Minaj's alter ego, Martha, has a flare for being a tad bit flirty. So it was only natural for her to touch on one particular topic that covered her flirtatious side: Her love for the former 'American Idol' judge, Simon Cowell, as well as the talks between the two regarding 'X Factor.'

"I can't talk about that, but I love Simon very dearly," she recently tells MTV News in Martha's British accent. "He's such an amazing man. I had the pleasure of meeting him, and my life will never be the same, darling. I told him that. I was absolutely in love with him prior to meeting him, and now that I've met him, it's like I dream about him every night."

Cowell has made it known that he is also infatuated with the hip-hop star -- revealing the two just might have some exciting projects coming up in the near future.

"We spoke to Nicki actually about a lot of projects," he says. "It wasn't specifically about 'X Factor,' but we were just very interested to meet her. I'm a big fan of hers. So I don't know if it's gonna be this show or something in the future, but it was definitely somebody I wanted to meet."

"I know the show is gonna be dope 'cause Simon is dope," Minaj comments. "I wish them luck."
