Nina Dobrev Congratulates Her Ex Ian Somerhalder for People’s Choice Award Nom

Who said exes can't be friends? Nina Dobrev certainly didn't! The 'Vampire Diaries' star may have recently ended her three-year-long relationship with her co-star Ian Somerhalder, but she hasn't cut ties with her ex.

After the People's Choice Awards nominations came out earlier this week, Nina posted a tweet of support directed of her ex:

Aww! While Ian Somerhalder may be nominated in the Best SciFi Actor category, it's not the only nomination that 'The Vampire Diaries' received this year. Nina was nominated for the same award in the Best SciFi Actress category, as well. In fact, the former couple's characters — the smoldering hot vampire couple, Damon and Elena — also happen to be up for the award of Best On-screen Chemistry.

Could this friendly Twitter message be an indication that the on-screen couple could be moving back to a romance off-screen? Or is Nina Dobrev simply being a supportive co-star? Only time will tell!
