Olly Murs has a pretty clear message for Taylor Swift: He wants her to stop writing about Harry Styles.

Speaking to the hosts on Australia's 2DayFM, the British singer (who is good friends with the One Direction boy bander) revealed his opinion that T. Swift should stop penning songs about her ex.

"I suppose it's like, 'C'mon, let it go. Write something new that isn't about Harry. C'mon," he groaned, referring to 'Out of the Woods,' which he admittedly hadn't heard. "Bless him, it's like two years ago. He's still getting lashed out, isn't he?"

"Apparently ['We Are Never Getting Back Together'] was about him," he continued, referring to Swift's first single off of 2012's 'Red.' "It's like, wow, bless him. He's getting loads of songs written about him."

Despite Murs' personal feelings on Taylor Swift's tracks, that hasn't stopped him from singing the lyrics to her latest tune on the radio show's #SongSwap franchise. With the melody and instruments taken from his own single, 'Wrapped Up,' he sang 'Out of the Woods' in a whole new way -- and it was pretty impressive, we have to say.

Still, Olly Murs may want to consider reaching out to Taylor to clear up his comments -- considering both artists will be on the upcoming 'The X Factor' finale and will be meeting each other for the first time.
