One Republic + Katharine McPhee Team Up for ‘If I Lose Myself’ on ‘American Idol’

It was a mashup of pop, rock and a former 'American Idol' contestant on tonight's (March 28) results episode of the show, as OneRepublic performed their latest single 'If I Lose Myself' with an assist from Katharine McPhee, late of Season 5.

Kat didn't turn up until the second verse of the song, and she was seated among the hopefuls as she delivered her first few bars before joining Ryan Tedder in the center of the stage. Kat chopped off her long, brown hair and is now boasting a shaggy, layered bob. She could shave it and still look good, though!

Nevertheless, on the vocal front, she merged seamlessly with OneRepublic for this epic, sprawling rendition of a rad song.
