Good news OutKast and Ciara fans! It looks like both artists will join the roster at Sony Music's Epic Records, which is being run by music mogul Antonio "L.A." Reid. This would be an interesting reunion since the two Grammy-winning acts were once signed to Reid's now-defunct label LaFace Records.

OutKast was LaFace's first hip-hop act and in 1994 they released their classic debut album 'Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.' Nine years later, under the tutelage of Reid at Arista, the duo dropped their hip-hop masterpiece 'Speakerboxxx/The Love Below,' which garnered six Grammy Awards, including the Album of the Year trophy. Hopefully, Reid can force Big Boi and André 3000 to head back into the studio and record another great rap album. It's been nearly six years since we've heard an official OutKast song.

Reid crowned Ciara the "Princess of Crunk&B" in 2004 when she joined LaFace in 2004. Her debut album 'Goodies' boasted such crunk and R&B-infused hits as '1, 2 Step' and 'Oh' featuring Ludacris, who is now rumored to be her boyfriend. Her singing career has been on hold since being released from Jive Records in 2010. Her last album ‘Basic Instinct’ sold poorly, which Ci-Ci blamed the label due to their lack of support behind the project. If anyone can revive Ciara's career, it would be Reid.

It's also going to be interesting to see how Reid juggles his executive duties at Epic Records and being a judge on Fox's reality-competition show the 'X Factor.' Our eyes will definitely be glued to the TV screen for the heated arguments that will erupt between him and Simon Cowell, as well as fellow judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. The 'X Factor' will premiere on Sept. 21 at 8PM ET.
