Congratulations are definitely in order for Panic! At The Disco. Fourteen years into band's career, their latest single "High Hopes" has officially become the Brendon Urie-fronted act's most successful hit to date.

It was announced today (December 11) that "High Hopes" has hit No. 1 across three different radio formats, Pop, Hot AC, and Alternative. Plus, the song holds steady at No. 5 on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart this week. It is the band's highest-charting single on this chart. The band's last visit to the Hot 100 top 10 was their 2006 breakout hit "I Write Sins Not Tragedies," which peaked at No. 7.

Just last week "High Hopes" was officially certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for exceeding 1 million units sold.

In a time when people often lament about the seemingly "disposable" nature of today's popular music and artists, these achievements are a testament to Panic! At The Disco and Brendon Urie's talent and staying power, both in the biz and in music listeners' hearts.

"High Hopes" is the second single off the band's Pray for the Wicked album, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 album chart when it dropped this past June.

With this sort of momentum, there's chance of it possibly becoming Panic!'s first No. 1 hit on the Hot 100. Do you think the song will continue rising on the charts?
