‘Boy Meets World’ Star Rider Strong Is a Dad!

Surprise: Shawn Hunter is officially a father!

'Boy Meets World' star and everyone's childhood crush Rider Strong welcomed a baby boy with his wife Alexandra Barreto, his rep tells Us Weekly.

Baby Strong -- full name: Indigo 'Indy' Barreto Strong -- was born on Dec. 28, just in time to usher in the new year with his proud parents. Yay, baby!

Though the actor was able to keep his wife's pregnancy on the down-low throughout the entire nine months, his beloved character has been vocal about fatherhood on 'Girl Meets World,' especially because Cory and Topanga's daughter Riley is gunning for Shawn to become a father figure to her Shawn Hunter-esque bestie, Maya.

Congratulations to the happy couple! And let it be known that we are rooting for Indy to quickly start sporting some of his dad's mop-top coifs. (He did inherit that hair, after all.)
