‘Rio’ Soundtrack Features will.i.am, Taio Cruz, Jamie Foxx

With will.i.am, Taio Cruz and Jamie Foxx onboard, the 3D animated film 'Rio' is shaping up to be one of the most exciting soundtracks of 2011 so far.

At first glance, a whimsical animated movie about an endangered macaw who's afraid to fly would seem to be an odd choice for a hot soundtrack, but 'Rio' boasts a strong track listing. Cruz sings 'Telling the World,' while Foxx performs 'Fly Love.'

Foxx and will.i.am appear on 'Real in Rio' with the stars of the movie, Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway and George Lopez. Foxx and will also perform 'Hot Wings (I Wanna Party)' with Hathaway.

As the movie is set in Rio de Janeiro, it includes a number of Latin tracks from well-known composers like Sergio Mendes. Also making an appearance is Siedah Garrett, who dueted with Michael Jackson back in 1987 on the No. 1 hit 'I Just Can't Stop Loving You.'

'Rio' is expected to hit US theaters on April 15, while the soundtrack drops on April 5.
