On Monday night (June 11), the internet got One Tree Hill fans all worked up when former stars Hilarie Burton (Peyton Sawyer), Danneel Ackles (Rachel Gatina), Robert Buckley (Clay Evans), and Antwon Tanner (Antwon “Skills” Taylor) all shared photos on Instagram from the set of what Tanner called a “new project.” Though the images were quickly deleted, screenshots obtained by TV Guide show that each of the actors used the hashtag "Christmas2018," leading us to believe OTH reunion of sorts could be on the way. But Sophia Bush (Brooke Davis) quickly shot down rumors during an office visit with Bustle on Tuesday (June 12), thus ruining everyone's day.

"It has nothing to do with our show. I'm sorry," Bush told the outlet. "There are no plans. I don't know if that's to say there never will be, but literally there is not a single discussion of a plan in the works at all."

The beloved teen drama aired from 2003-2012 on the WB (which later became the CW), and though we're still unsure what the "new project" is referring to, it sounds like it's definitely not a OTH reunion.

Sigh.
