Steven Tyler Convinced Jennifer Lopez to Leave ‘American Idol’
Rumors of Jennifer Lopez supposedly leaving 'American Idol' flooded every kind of news wave imaginable. Yet Aerosmith frontman and 'Idol' judge Steven Tyler was the first to announce his exit from the reality show competition. And, as we all know now, Lopez followed suit soon after and confirmed her departure from the show.
Apparently the move for the hot mama to leave 'Idol' was very well planned, and that it was Tyler who "cemented" her decision to leave. "We had magic," said Lopez to ABC News. "I don't know, with him gone, it might be a different formula." Well, that's one way to leave a show dangling by one judge.
But of course, Lopez doesn't rule out returning to 'Idol' in the future, and she even has suggestions for replacements. And they're um... pretty extravagant. "I think like Bono, or Bon Jovi, or Mick Jagger," she said of who she'd like to see as a judge. "You know me, I think big."
We're not sure what we think of her judge picks. That's like getting Paul McCartney to be on the show. We think they should leave the legends alone. What do you think PopCrush readers? Sound off your comments below.
