Tonight's elimination episode of 'American Idol' featured many surprises, including an unannounced appearance by Stevie Wonder. But somehow, country duo Sugarland's previously scheduled 'Idol' debut still managed to make a big impression, as they performed on the show's vaunted stage for the very first time.

The duo, comprised of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, performed their sweet hit, 'Stuck Like Glue,' a fun, easy, breezy romp that should certainly inspire the 'Idol' contestants. The song, which is as infectious as a cold during the winter months, appears on the band's 'The Incredible Machine' album.

Sugarland are certainly dipping their toes in the pop music pool a lot as of late. It was announced today that Nettles will team up with Rihanna at the ACM Awards on April 3 in Las Vegas. The unlikely pair will sing Rihanna's new song, 'California King Bed,' which appears on her latest album, 'Loud.'

With a killer 'Idol' performance under their belts and an upcoming collaboration with a pop diva, Sugarland should soon be tasting even more mainstream success. They're well on their way to being stuck, like glue, in the ears and hearts of music fans far outside of the country realm after tonight's extravaganza.
