SXSW 2013 Fashion Trends – Body Paint

SXSW is certainly a way to get a message or a statement out to a lot of people at once. What better way to do it than with body paint?

PETA is promoting the vegan lifestyle and giving out vegan starter kits as they encourage people to save the planet by making better food choices.

Wearing a shirt -- makeshift or otherwise -- with an image of the earth on it is snoozy. Painting the land masses and bodies of water that comprise the planet on girls with tight bodies makes a bigger splash.

This is quite a unique fashion statement.
