We the Kings know their way around a love song. The pop-rock outfit are masters when it comes to weaving musical tales of love, longing and loss, and have been doing so for nearly a decade.

In 2017, the band celebrates the 10 year anniversary of their self-titled debut album, We the Kings. To mark the occasion, we asked lead singer Travis Clark to curate a nostalgic playlist featuring some of his favorite love songs of all time.

"I've always thought of myself as a hopeless romantic," Travis shares of his playlist. "Either that or just someone that always got turned down by the girls in my school growing up, so I turned to music to help my situation!"

"These songs are like a time machine to me," he adds. "When I hear each one, I go back in time in my head to when I heard it first, or maybe when I heard it become special to me. In my opinion, that is one of the coolest things about music: It can make you feel something so strong with a simple piano note, a vocal line, or a guitar pattern. I hope you enjoy my playlist, it was so much fun to create and it also gave me an excuse to revisit some of my most fond memories!"

Below, stroll down memory lane with We the Kings' "Love Songs From A King Of Love Songs" playlist, and be sure to subscribe on Apple Music.
