Utada Hikaru is back — for real this time.

As previously announced, the "First Love" icon will release new music for the first time since 2012's "Sakura Nagashi" in the form of a theme song for an upcoming drama called Toto Nee-chan, which will debut on April 4. Today, her official website revealed the title of that theme will be "Hantaba o Kimi ni." (The rough translation in English: "To you a bouquet of flowers.") And that's only the start of what's to come.

Utada will be supplying a second new song, a theme for late-night news program NEWS ZERO, which will debut that same evening on April 4. (Title still TBD.) But that's still not everything.

The singer originally announced her extended hiatus in 2010. As of today (March 10), Utada Hikaru is officially resuming artist activities according to her official website, beginning with a Twitter campaign — and a heartwarming cause.

On a new site, called the NEW-TURN PROJECT, Hikki's team is calling upon fans to welcome the singer back to music by tweeting with the hashtag #おかえりHIKKI ("Welcome back Hikki"), as well as encouraging fans to purchase her music, which will cause cherry blossoms to bloom on the tree featured on the project's page. The goal is to achieve full bloom by April 4.

Even better: A portion of the proceeds obtained from the NEW-TURN PROJECT will be donated to the replanting of cherry blossom trees in areas affected by the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.

Join Hikki's label and her fans in celebrating her return at the NEW-TURN PROJECT's official website. Here she comes — welcome back, Hikki!
