Watch Ciara Slay ‘I Bet’ on ‘TODAY’

What was Ciara up to on a casual Wednesday morning? Oh, she just slaying her performance of "I Bet" on the TODAY show.

On May 5, Ciara and her insanely-long hair (like, it pretty much rivals Kat DeLuna's enviable, Rapunzel-like braid) performed one of the many remixes of "I Bet," putting her heart and soul into the performance even though it sadly was not the Joe Jonas remix. (We'll get over it.)

Ciara stunned in a flowing, all-white ensemble as she paraded across the stage, belting out the single to a packed audience of die-hard supporters. Not that she actually had to do anything to get the crowd hyped -- the fans were singing along to every word as it is -- but the "Goodies" singer pumped up things even more by encouraging the crowd to jump and throw their hands in the air. Because 8 AM is never too early to get a little cray to a Ciara jam. (Plus, it's Cinco de Mayo, and if any city knows how to party, it's New York.)

"I Bet" is the lead single from Ciara's newest album, Jackie, a release that she named after her mother.

"Now being a mom, I can see the world through her eyes and what it's like to be in her shoes," Ciara revealed before her performance. "It's really the coolest thing that's happened in my life."
