Whitney Houston Almost Gets Kicked Off a Flight for Refusing to Wear Her Seat Belt

Sound the alarms! There is a diva in our midst! According to TMZ, Whitney Houston is stirring up trouble yet again, this time for refusing to buckle her seat belt on a recent flight out of Atlanta, Ga.

The website is reporting that Ms. Whit boarded a flight in Atlanta and when flight attendants asked her to buckle her safety belt, which is completely normal protocol for an airline staff, Houston apparently threw a fit. The 'Dance With Somebody' songstress refused to buckle the belt until the attendants threatened to kick her off the airplane.

Eventually, Houston let one of the frustrated crew members fasten her seat belt and the flight was cleared for takeoff. A source close to the divalicious 48-year-old said that Whitney "overreacted a little bit after missing an earlier flight but she's still 100% sober and was on the way to Detroit for her first day of shooting a new movie."

We're happy to hear that Whitney is still living a sober lifestyle, but come on, quit being such a sour puss and buckle up like everyone else has to! Does she really want to go catapulting from her seat anyways if the airplane hits a bout of turbulence?
