When it comes to the entertainment industry, there are a few celebrities who can crossover smoothly between different fields -- for example, 'SexyBack' hitmaker Justin Timberlake is an accomplished crooner, but he has also starred in movies like the 2010 Oscar-nominated flick 'The Social Network.' However, some celebrities haven't been so lucky in their career transitions, with a laundry list of actors/socialites/athletes/reality television stars releasing some of the worst music ever.
When you think of actresses turned horrible singers, there are three names that immediately come to mind: Lindsay Lohan, who dropped the single 'Rumors' much to our ears' dismay, Kim Kardashian, who released the abomination known as 'Jam,' and Paris Hilton, who pretty much makes us want to bang our heads against a wall whenever she starts singing her inane tunes like 'Stars Are Blind.'
Some other celebs who have unsuccessfully tried to crossover into music include 'The Hills' star Heidi Montag ('Higher'), 'Party of Five' starlet Jennifer Love Hewitt ('BareNaked'), 'Baywatch' lifeguard David Hasselhoff (his abominable cover of 'Hooked on a Feeling'), 'Real Housewives of New York City' socialite LuAnn de Lesseps ('Money Can't Buy You Class'), and finally, former NBA center Shaquille O'Neal ('I Know I Got (Skillz)' plus many other rap jams).
