On Wednesday night's episode of 'American Idol' (April 13), the eight remaining contestants are moving past the uproar of Pia Toscano's exit and singing memorable movie songs.
Each week, PopCrush predicts what songs we think the Idols should attempt. Here are our suggestions on what big screen songs the remaining eight contestants should try. We think we may be right on with a few of our choices, if we don't say so ourselves.

Casey Abrams:
Abrams' raspy tone would be best suited for the lovelorn 'In Your Eyes' by Peter Gabriel, which plays during one of the most iconic scenes of 'Say Anything' and of '80s filmmaking in general. Abrams doesn’t need to pull a John Cusack, holding a boom box over his head. He can just use his voice to make his point.

Stefano Langone: With resident balladeer Pia Toscano ousted last week, Langone's got a set of pipes and he is capable of providing the humongous, room-filling voice needed to pull off Celine Dion's gut-wrenching hit 'My Heart Will Go On' from 'Titanic.'

Jacob Lusk: We'd love to see the always over-the-top Lusk exercise restraint and then explode into his signature hysteria by re-imagining Seal's 'Kiss From a Rose,' which was used effectively in 'Batman Forever.' Lusk can really play with dynamics if he does this song.

Haley Reinhart: Reinhart rocked it with a Janis Joplin song last week. We'd love to see her reel it in and get all soft and sensitive with 'Somewhere Out There' from 'An American Tail,' which was done by Linda Rondstadt and James Ingram and can jerk a tear out of the eye of even the coldest of beings.

Lauren Alaina: Alaina could rip through 'Unchained Melody' by the Righteous Brothers, which was utilized in one of the most romantic movie scenes ever in 'Ghost,' like nobody's business. She's got heat and has the ability to inject the song with perfect tone and emotional heft. This achingly beautiful song begs to be sung by this teen.

Paul McDonald: McDonald should strap on his acoustic axe and slay Simon & Garfunkel's 'Mrs. Robinson' much the same way he did Johnny Cash's 'Folsom Prison Blues' last week. The song, from 'The Graduate,' is smack dab in middle of the singer's wheelhouse.

James Durbin: Durbin's a firecracker and has the range to hit all of Freddie Mercury's notes which populate Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody.' The song was memorably used in 'Wayne's World' and Durbin is the perfect candidate to infuse an already epic, bombastic song with an even larger dose of flamboyant energy.

Scotty McCreery: 'I Will Always Love You' was sung by Whitney Houston in 'The Bodyguard,' but it was originally belted out by Dolly Parton in 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas' film -- so the song has country roots, and McCreery should gravitate towards this tune for that reason alone. Even though Houston's version has notes higher than Mt. Everest, McCreery's down-low crooning is tailor made for the a cappella parts.
