Vacation is designed to leave you rested, but it's left Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence with a whole bunch of work.

The two actresses met just a few months ago when Lawrence introduced herself after screening Schumer's movie, she told the New York Times in an interview published today (August 26). "I emailed her after I saw Trainwreck and said, ‘I don’t know where to get started. I guess I should just say it: I’m in love with you.'"

Evidently, that was all that needed to be said to get the magic-wheels in motion. Lawrence said she and Schumer—who proceeded to spend some time off jet skiing—have penned 100 pages of an original movie in which they'll play sisters. They're also working with Schumer's sister, Kim, who worked on Trainwreck.

"Amy and I were creatively made for each other," J. Law shared. "We have different flavors. It’s been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up."

But was Amy okay with the fact that Jen spilled the beans? Lawrence told the Times she texted her pal to give her a heads up, and then:

"I wrote, ‘I just spilled the beans to The New York Times. Is that okay?’” she said. “And Amy wrote back, ‘That you’re gay? Totally! It’s exciting!’"

Ah, friendship...
