Go Behind the Scenes of Jennifer Lopez in ‘V’ Magazine Shoot

We always knew Jennifer Lopez was a tough cookie. Now she's really showing it! We get to see a behind-the-scenes glimpse at J. to the L-O in a new video clip from her 'V' magazine shoot.

The video is pretty brief, but still relatively revealing about the private star: it shows her transformation for the cameras. Between shots, we see J. Lo giggling and dancing (remember, that's how she got her start!). Once the flashbulbs start, however, she morphs into the fierce diva we see in print, complete with narrow eyes and fierce punches.

In the mag, she discusses how she can't knock everyone out all the time. “You’re not going to hit the target or the bull’s-eye every time … you have amazing moments of recognition and success," the 'American Idol' judge said. "But at this point in my life, I try to take it all with a grain of salt.”

Lopez even uses the magazine's boxing metaphor to describe her own life. “I can take a lot of punches and still keep going. I’ve been trained like a boxer to go 15 rounds.”
